Sigtuna

Sigtuna is usually called Sweden’s first town and more than any other it gives visitors a sense of Swedish history. It has the country’s oldest street, some of its first stone churches, a collection of at least 30 runestones, and a tiny building that rates one of Sweden’s oldest unchanged town halls.
