Power supply in Czechia

Power in Czechia is 220-230V AC, 50Hz. Basic appliances rated at 110V would be damaged by this, creating a fire risk, and require a voltage converter for use.

This can also apply to power boards. Check that high-end electronic devices have inbuilt converters that cover the necessary ratings.

The CEE 7/7 standard 16-amp European travel adapter plug works in Czechia. The socket type E is used, with two round pins and a female socket for a grounding pin. The type F Schutzkontakt plug also fits this. The type C Europlug will fit, but be unearthed.
