Customs rules

Goods can be imported for personal use by travellers or as gifts for occasional transport.

The duty-free import limit of goods for personal use (or as gifts) by adults is €300 (or €430 when travelling by air). For people up to age 15, the limit is €200.

Additional items are up to 200 cigarettes, 50 cigars and 250g of tobacco, two litres of alcohol (with strength up to 22%), four litres of wine and 16 litres of beer. Up to 10 litres of fuel, in excess of what is in a vehicle's fuel tank, is also permitted.

Medications in quantities reflecting the personal use of the travellers are permitted.
