Affordable Czech hotels

The appealing aspect of Czech accommodation is that there are plenty of options among modern independent hotels at rates that are lower than in many European countries. Three-star hotel prices become very reasonable and four-star hotels often come within easy reach, starting in the 1,500Kč range. 

Independent hotels dominate the picture and hotels belonging to modern chains are not so numerous in Czechia as in western European countries. Ibis hotels has three hotels in Prague and one in Plzeň. The Motel One chain has two Prague hotels and B&B Hotels one in Prague. Much better represented is the Czech Orea chain, with about 20 hotels, available at rates starting in the 1,400-2,000Kč range.
